 Galactic Star Cruiser: All Hope is Lost…

To what few readers I have, I am sorry. 

A couple months ago it was reported to me by a highly unreliable source, a source  that has 9/10 times bashed WDW imagineering, Lucasfilm and Disney as a whole( a real asshole stick in the mud) reported to me that the star cruiser was being “gutted” to be turned into offices. However as many journalists and creatives do they take all rumors they are given with a pinch of salt, as my other more reliable sources either went silent on the subject completely for the last few months or reported that in some way after K.K(Kathleen Kennedy’s) exit from her role at Lucasfilm, the Star Cruiser would somehow reopen, with a new story as part of a refurbishment and retheme of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge that was set during the Original Trilogy or Mandalorian Era of Star Wars. 

Today, however, I was brought grim news. WDWNT reported that this rumor that I thought had little to no merit, was true. The Star Cruiser has been gutted and changed into offices for WDWI, and it is no more. 

As a person who was told this a couple months ago and chose not to believe it due to the nature of the source that provided this information to me, being a hater of Disney Star Wars, I chose to not report this and I feel terrible, now that this news has been brought to light in an article, that sources an insider who spoke the the publication “the Wrap.” I apologize to you all my readers for not reporting on this subject, and I hope in the future that I am able to put away my own bias as a beacon of hope for Disney World and Star Wars, and still will provide what little info I receive from what sources I have left. 

For those of you who read these articles and had at a time looked excited to read someone who didn’t ever get to experience this level of Immersion, and was hopeful so very hopeful that the Star Cruiser would reopen in the future, I hope that you continue reading my future concepts and articles in the future. 

For those of you,(my friends and colleagues) who I gave hope to one day take a voyage on this experience, who had never taken a voyage aboard the Halcyon now we never will. The tactics of missing out on this experience that we all thought was a ploy at the beginning to fix attendance. The lack of interest some of you had shared with me, due to your inability to comprehend the greatness that this experience may have provided to us if we had just gone, I say to you, I told you so.

As for those of you who knew, understood and I got to speak with, you are the lucky few who got to experience this. To you all I congratulate you, as I attempted to be a beacon of hope, reporting from my home office on theme park knowledge, and what limited bits of info I got from my sources, I apologize to you all most of all. Many of you agreed with me in our conversations that it was something special, it was something that needed to stay and it was most importantly something that Disney should have reconsidered opening until the U.S Economic Climate changed, perhaps it would still be opened if its price tag was affordable to the many of us who wish The Star Cruiser was still opened today.

For those of you who are still reading my articles and my blog, I thank you, for your support, and I will promise for now on to report all information that I am being told, from my anonymous, unnamed, sources, including the Disney Bashers, who I always hope to god are wrong.
