Why Start A Blog?
Salutations: Introduction:
Hello and welcome to my blog Silver Forum and Critiques, where I intend to cover all of my interests and start conversations without bias of media conglomerates or a political backing . The point of this blog is because I have so many ideas and due to many of my qualifications and age (24 at the time of starting this blog) I am believed to lack the experience needed to bring my ideas to life with the company’s and people who could possibly bring the ideas I have to life.
For those of you reading this who do not know me, welcome and I thank you for supporting me in this endeavor to reach out to the higher ups in our society who seem to forget about the little guy and the ones who inevitably pay to use their services. In this blog I will be sharing ideas that could creatively help as well as criticize content creators without a censor in a manner that not all of you will agree with and I know not all of my readers will agree with what I write and I am perfectly fine with this as I created this to just get my ideas out there and not to insight extremism or radicalize people against their fellow man, rather to tell my ideas and receive feedback from readers. If an article is taken down on here due to censorship in this scary time for America, I apologize to my readers in advance, however the aim of this blog isn’t to spread false truths or propaganda rather to explore ideas and have conversations that creativity can solve problems for the companies and country I love.
My Qualifications and about me.
My geographical and educational background:
I am a native born Floridian from South Florida, and have been writing ever since I could remember, when I decided to go to college I went to Eckerd College in St. Petersburg Florida, and obtained a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film Studies. While in college i fell in love with Film Theories and although I don’t recall many of the names or generalize myself as an expert on all topics film, i do consider myself a scholar as in my junior year i found myself becoming more interested in the Theory of Transmedia Storytelling, a theory about franchises and expansion of canonical materials across different mediums of entertainment. I graduated in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was during this time that I first began criticizing popular American Politics seeing flaws in the positions of both sides of the isle and coming up with my own political platform that took the best things from both sides and combined it into my own belief system, that i generally have stuck to, rarely changing ideologies.
My Cultural and Ethnical background
I was raised in a non-super religious but still Jewish family and am fascinated by different cultures as well as biblical scripture, legends and folklore from across the globe and while i still consider myself a jewish american i also consider myself well educated in the understanding of different societies and cultures across the globe(thanks Eckerd). My mother was half jewish half Italian, her grandmother coming from Sicily, allowing me some catholic heritage, but not enough to make me catholic.
My Sexuality
(skip if you want i know it doesn’t matter to everyone)
When I was in highschool i first started my journey of self discovery and sexuality, however, i have deemed that while i am not straight i am not gay but i am definately not asexual, flirting with the concept of myself being Bi, then Pan and now just going by the term queer to express my sexuality as I love all peoples regardless of gender roles equally, and some i find myself attracted to while others i dont.
My Political identity:
I was raised in a diversely political family, my father being an independent(leaning right), my mother being an independent(leaning left), my stepfather being an independent(leaning right and my step mother being a libertarian. My grandfather is a pure independent and my grandmother is a democrat, so my background is across the map politically and for that reason I have adopted and accepted beliefs from all sides of the aisle.
Living with A Disorder.
When I was a child I was diagnosed with a non-verbal learning disorder, however it is still unclear to me what this was and I never let it define me as I didn't know I had a learning disorder until my mother eventually told me when I was in my sophomore year of college. Which bewildered me as I never noticed it. However, knowing I had memory problems and trouble organizing my thoughts, a struggle that eventually led me to writing. This may be something that readers may notice in my articles going forward as my organization of thoughts may become jumbled in some articles and for that I am sorry as I can’t help it, and points may be missed when in the editing process if i delete specific pieces, unable to reword it properly due to this.
Writing out of Love:
When first planning this blog I knew that I wanted to speak my mind and second I wanted to make sure I didn't get sued by any group for slander despite writing from a place of love rather than hatred. If I critique someone by name it is because I expect them to wake up and smell the coffee but here I am writing a blog on my couch in my apartment. As many will notice, my writings are written with the express intent of writing for the sake of unification and to bring everyone to an agreement, to love each other rather than hate.
Thank you for reading: concluding statements
In the world we live in today, there is too much division, intended to help patch and seam the splits of division created by us as content creators and fans, political rivals, writer and reader. For it isn’t my intent to be mean spirited or blunt, it is my intent to provide insights that may have been missed or glanced over by these people in power, that i didn’t glance over or miss due to my obsession with the topic at the time or my high level of creativity and critical thinking. I intend for this to be read by CEOs, Politicians and Executives as well as the working class blue collar fan who is in need of hope that someone at the top is listening, someone is writing an article that today won’t do anything but tomorrow will make things better. Happy Reading.
